In York, landscape supply yards usually price bulk material by the cubic yard and charge a delivery fee by distance, so measure the area first: one cubic yard of mulch covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep. Across Pennsylvania, small-engine repair shops get backed up in early spring, so service mowers over the winter. Many yards and feed stores close earlier on weekends. The goto place to buy grass seeds,(any variety) or any other home or farm seeds. Very knowledgable about what to plant where. Looks like they planted sample patches of grasses and fescues in giant checkerboard outside the shop, across the parking lot.
